Notes on the Earn2Trade · Trader Career Path 25K rules

  • In US dollars, on the USD 25,000 account: a USD 1,750 profit target, a USD 550 daily loss limit and a USD 1,500 maximum loss.
  • Daily loss: counted from the balance the day starts with, over the 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM CT day, with open and closed trades and commissions (help.earn2trade.com page).
  • The maximum-loss floor moves only at the day's close, but a breach counts at any moment, open losses included (help.earn2trade.com page); daily closes cannot see it, so the figures are optimistic here.
  • Best-day rule: no day may exceed 30 % of the total profit; checked against the profit target when a path reaches it, on daily closes, which is stricter.
  • Breaking the consistency rule does not end the account: it asks for more trading days (help.earn2trade.com page).
  • No minimum trading days, but with the 30 % rule at least 4 days must close with a gain.
  • Intraday only: no position may be held overnight; every position is closed by 3:50 PM CT (help.earn2trade.com page).
  • Going over the contract limit of the progression ladder ends the account (help.earn2trade.com page).
  • News trading is allowed in the evaluation (help.earn2trade.com page).

How does the calculator count the Earn2Trade daily loss and drawdown?

According to the help center read on 2026-10-10, the daily loss is counted from the balance the day starts with (5:00 PM to 5:00 PM CT) with open and closed trades and commissions, and the drawdown trails the highest daily close up to the starting balance, open losses included. The calculator checks both at every daily close: it does not see the floating loss within the day, so it is optimistic against them.

How does the calculator treat the Earn2Trade Maintain Consistency rule?

According to the help center read on 2026-10-10, no day may be 30 % or more of the total P&L; breaking it does not end the account, it asks for more trading, and in practice it needs at least 4 days that close with a gain. The calculator compares the best day with the profit target when a path reaches it, the stricter reading.

What it computes and assumes

  • Each synthetic day has your trades per day; across them, the share that wins your average win is your win rate and the rest lose your average loss. With decimals, some days have one more trade than others so the average is yours.
  • The report's simulator resamples those days and checks every daily close: first the daily limit, then the total one and last the target with the minimum days. Every day with trades counts as a trading day, even when it nets zero.
  • Every win and loss has the average size: no tails, slippage, costs or intraday floating loss. Real losses vary, so with a real history the limits are usually hit more often.
  • Trades are independent: no streaks longer than chance.
  • The rules are those each firm posted on the date shown; they may have changed.
  • We keep your figures in no database or file; since they travel in the link, the server's access log may hold the address requested. It is a calculation with declared figures, not an audit or a forecast.
