The file you get
A .csv of the 'Performance' report from Account Reports (the full list of trades, along with its tables and charts) or of the 'Orders' report (the list of all orders of the period, by contract). Tradovate's help centre does not publish the CSV headers; the columns are recognised by their names.
Steps
- Log in to the Tradovate Web app and select your account type: Live for a brokerage account; Simulation for a demo or for a prop-firm evaluation account (Tradovate says to always choose Simulation, not Live, for those).
- Open Account Reports: select the Reports button on the right side of the page, or click the Intraday/Initial Margin percentage bars at the top of the screen.
- On the right, under Report Type, choose Performance (it includes the full list of trades) or Orders (every order of the period). Position History, Fills, Cash History and Account Balance History also exist.
- Choose the Date Range, add any filters you like and click GO to generate the report on the page.
- With the report on the page, select the CSV download option (not PDF): the file downloads directly to your computer.

Where to upload it
In the field 'Your platform report', as it is.
Limit: up to 10 MB per file. If your file is over the limit, shorten the period.
Before you upload
- Rigor is not affiliated with Tradovate or with any prop firm. The steps come from Tradovate's help centre, read in October 2026; if the app changes, go by what you see on screen.
- Performance is read as one row per closed trade and Orders as one row per fill; in Orders, cancelled orders and orders with no filled quantity are left out. As the help centre does not publish the headers, if a column is not recognised the upload shows you your file's columns so you can say which is which.
- Tradovate's help centre does not say which time zone the CSV times are in (its only time-zone setting, the Notification Ticker's, allows only your computer's local time or US Central Time): the report reads the times as they are.
- The help centre describes Account Reports for Live and Demo accounts; of prop-firm evaluation accounts it only says to log in in Simulation mode. Client Statements (PDF account statements) only exist in Live mode and are not uploaded: use the CSV from Account Reports. Rithmic-based prop-firm accounts cannot be used on Tradovate Web.
- If you trade a challenge, on the form, under 'Add more files', you choose the firm and the program to simulate with its published rules.
- This file does not say how much capital you started with: type it in 'Starting balance'. Without it the audit assumes 10,000 and says so in the report.
- The file only holds closed trades: the floating drawdown inside each trade is reported as Not measured.
What the report does with this file
- It recognises the columns by their names and the report shows which one was read as what, for example 'Column read as result'.
- If the file has no result column and no multiplier column, futures with a contract code (ESZ6, for example) are priced with the point value their exchange publishes and the report lists the one it used.
- It works out your win rate, net of the fees the file itemises, the average win and loss and the profit factor of your closed trades.
- It compares your longest losing streak with the one chance would give at the same share of losing trades (from 20 closed trades).
